About Bakery on Board

Hello, I’m Lisa Webb, the founder of Bakery on Board.

 

Baking has always been my passion. As a lifelong baker, I’ve cherished creating treats for friends, family, and special occasions. I even attended culinary school for a time, dreaming of one day opening my own brick-and-mortar bakery. While that specific dream didn’t materialize, I gained invaluable experience working in several small bakeries, learning the craft and the business.

 

After stepping away from professional baking for 10 years, I never stopped baking for loved ones—whether for co-workers or family gatherings. Then, inspiration struck while I was co-hosting a bridal shower. Tasked with providing dessert, I opted for something different: instead of a traditional cake, I prepared an assortment of cookies, bars, tarts, and small sweets, beautifully arranged on a large, round charcuterie-style board.

 

The result? A resounding success. Guests raved about the unique presentation and customizable design. That moment sparked the idea for Bakery on Board—a creative, one-of-a-kind way to elevate any event with desserts tailored to your theme, colors, or holiday.
